Sando Dango Pop-up w/ Soen

Do you sando? Do you dango? Welp, look no further, we have a tasssty treat in store for you. The good folks at Soen will be popping up at the shop on Sunday 3/1 (12-2p) and serving up a specialty tamago sando (egg salad sandwich) using local pasture-raised eggs, yuzu kosho butter, and buckwheat soba (with possible gf and vegan options ~ details to come). Additionally they will be offering dango (rice flour dumplings) with toppings like pnw grown azuki beans, kinako (soybean flour) with Okinawa brown sugar, and Cardamom coconut anko (azuki bean paste)!

We got the chance to try their tamago sando at a lovely event at Golden Hour a few months ago and fell in love with their thoughtful take on this Japanese convenient store classic. We have long been fans of Soen. Their approach to cooking is cozy, nuanced, surprising, and features an abundance of locally sourced ingredients. We highly suggest you check out their cafe downtown in Courier Coffee Roasters
