On Friday July 10 (5:30-7:30p) we’ll be hosting the release party for issue 8 of Berm magazine, a local publication focused on contemporary art and design here in Portland. There will be an intimate movement performance by Charles Roy Jr. at 6p!

For their eight issue, Berm asked artists to reflect on the theme “body.” Every artist and audience member must reckon with the body - whether it is a movement performer who makes their body into the work of art, a painter relying on their bodies to cooperate in the creation of art, or the audience member, embodied and dealing with whatever their body gives to them.
