If you’ve visited the shop, you’ve seen Caryln Wutkee’s hand-painted lighters. We’ve been long time fans of her work and were excited at the opportunity to host her in the shop for our very first nail art pop-up.

Choose from her signature “blob”, mushroom, worm, flower, glowing eye, or face designs and have them customized just for you ~ Reservation required so click the link below to sign up.

We’ll be open extra late for this afternoon/evening event (4-8p) as will a selection of other Mississippi Ave businesses. Every Third Thursday come walk the ave for special discounts, happy hours, and pop-ups!

Artist Bio

Carlyn Wutkee is a multi-disciplinary artist who has been living and creating in Portland for nearly 20 years. Her nail art project Fingertrips began in 2014 and she has painted on the hands of hundreds of people who have taken the art on journeys around the globe. She also hand-paints lighters that can be found at Fumi.

Things to keep in mind:

• Each session is 45 minutes long.

• This is only painting, no grooming. Please prep nails ahead of time.

• The artist cannot remove gel. However, they can paint on top of gel.

• The artist will only be offering the designs on the menu (blobs, flowers, mushrooms, worms, eyes, faces) and you can choose up to 2 items from the menu (designs can be chosen on the day of the event).

• Tips are welcome.
